The St. Mildred youth ministry refers to the various programs, activities, and initiatives organized by our Church to engage and nurture young people within the Catholic faith. The aim is to help young Catholics grow in their relationship with God, deepen their understanding of Catholic teachings and traditions, and develop a sense of community and belonging within the Church.
The youth ministry often includes a variety of activities such as retreats, youth group meetings, service projects, social events, catechesis (religious education), and leadership development programs. These activities are tailored to the needs and interests of young people, providing opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship, and personal development.
St. Mildred will have dedicated youth ministers and coordinators who oversee youth ministry efforts and work directly with young people to support their faith journey. This ministry is considered an essential component of our Church's mission to evangelize and disciple young Catholics, helping them to live out their faith in today's world.
