Pastor Letter

Dear St. Mildred Parish Family,

Greetings and blessings to all. I pray that all had a restful and an enjoyable time at our Annual Parish Picnic. A very heartfelt and appreciative thank you to all that participated in the planning and execution of this event.

We have journeyed together another month, and we have another month of events that are happening in October. We will have Blessing of the Animals and our 1st Saturday Mass. On Sunday October 6th, we have a dinner followed by our Guest Speaker Dr. Susane Bane. I will be attending the Diocesan Native American Catholic Community Culture Day at the cathedral during the same weekend, but I will be with you all in prayer.

We have other events like our St. Mildred Yard Sale, and the Swansboro Mullet Festival our first! Do not forget that we have our Hospitality Committee will be providing us with Coffee and Doughnuts on Sunday October the 20th following Mass to provide us with fellowship and a time to get to know our new parishioners. We will also be having our Confirmation Retreat led by our Catechists on campus.
